Christmas at Muncaster Castle

At this magical time of year, you can take in the wonders of byegone days with a trip to Muncaster Castle.  Open from 22nd November, every Sunday, you can wonder around this historic landmark all decorated in style for the festive season. 

You can even take a short trip back in time to 1885 with the servents of the time and enjoy a glass of Mulled wine and a mince pie beside log fires!  (Booking is required and seperate charges apply)

You can also take in the wonders of the Lake District and see it in a new light - at night!  With the garden illuminations 'Darkest Muncaster' open every Saturday and Sunday from 22nd November, it's a real delight and a rare opportunity to take in the real magic of night.  For further details, visit the Muncaster website.
